Majority of the causes of maternal and neonatal deaths are preventable and occur mostly at home or in the community and could be prevented with early recognition and proper implementation of required skills and knowledge. It is against this background that SDI went into partnership with Clinton Health Access Initiative to train 2,650 TBAs across the above 3 states of this country.
